Bar Midland is a love letter to the state of Victoria and stands as a blueprint for the future of sustainable dining. 

Our food and wine menus celebrate producers who focus on organic, bio-dynamic and regenerative land management.

We focus directly on showcasing indigenous food, introduced wild animals and weeds.

All our food, wine, and spirits are sourced, grown, and produced within the state of Victoria.

Housed in the historic Midland Hotel, the handsome and intimate bar & dining space is open Friday & Saturday evenings and Saturday and Sunday lunch for our monthly changing set menu, as well as cocktails and snacks in our bar-meets-lounge - The Radio Room.

Bar Midland acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we operate — the Jaara Jaara people of Dja Dja Wurrung Country. We hope our commitment to regenerative farming practices can help restore these lands that have been compromised by European farming. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
